WHAT IS LITD?
Light In The Darkness Ministries is a Christian missionary ministry founded by the Trawick family in 1998. The organization is located in Roatán Island, Honduras and focuses on providing aid to underprivileged children. David Trawick's passion for missionary work was sparked by his sixth grade teacher's Social Studies article about "Street Children" in Brazil. This inspired him to establish Light In The Darkness Ministries to help disadvantaged children by providing education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance. The ministry has become a beacon of hope for many children and their families, and their unwavering dedication continues to change lives for the better.

"I AM A MISSIONARY TO CHILDREN"I am David Trawick, the individual whose experience in sixth grade sparked the creation of Light In The Darkness Ministries. Throughout my career, I have served as a Youth Pastor, Christian school teacher, Pastor, song leader, and janitor.
Together with my son-in-law and daughter, Taylor and Tabitha Henry, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a missionary in Honduras. Prior to this, I served for seven years in México and three in Savannah, GA. My family and I are honored to be a part of the mission of Light In The Darkness Ministries and to serve those in need with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication. |
